You Can Make a Difference!

"Friends of CPPR" Organization Has Been Formed

A membership drive is underway---please join us! A group of concerned friends and fellow citizens have formed a support organization, the "Friends of CPPR". Friends of CPPRThe intent is to create public awareness, lend support and provide manpower to the "Citzens for the Protection of Property Rights", as "CPPR" begins it's 11th year defending their private property from forceful government occupation, manipulation, and "above the law" aggressions of Erie Metroparks' three appointed Park Commissioners.

The "Friends" group already has officers in place, and is committed to help CPPR in many volunteer capacities. An informative newsletter will be offered to its members.

"CPPR" is very grateful, and welcomes the support! We encourage all our friends and fellow citizens to participate in the "Friends of CPPR" organization. If you would like to join the "Friends of CPPR"
e-mail your name, address and phone number to cpprmilan@aol.com.

There are other ways you can help, too.

Call or write Judge Beverly McGookey. She is the elected official responsible for these three park commissioners. Each year she re-appoints the same men. This irresponsible threesome must be replaced! Send mail to:

Honorable Judge Beverly McGookey
323 Columbus Ave.
Sandusky, OH 44870

Telephone: 419-627-7750

Erie County Prosecutor Kevin Baxter"interpreted" an appeals ruling the opposite of its wording, allowing Erie MetroParks to forcefully take an additional three miles of property from the landowners. He then ordered the Sheriff's Department to enforce his decision, leaving landowners nowhere to turn for help.

Remember Judge Beverly Mcgookey's and Erie County Prosecutor Kevin Baxter's actions at election time.

Write to Erie County Commissioners.

They are our elected representation in government, yet will not aid us in the defense of our civil rights. They should take a stand against Erie MetroParks' misspent tax dollars and the forceful government occupation of private property. Send mail to Nancy McKeen, Tom Ferrell, and Sparky Weilnau at:

2900 Columbus Ave.
Sandusky, OH 44870

Support CPPR Fundraisers.

It is very expensive to fight a legal battle against the government. The Erie MetroPark commissioners use our tax dollars to fight us. For a schedule of upcoming fundraiser advents, e-mail us at cpprmilan@aol.com.

Become informed on this issue!

Question the Park Commissioners actions. Your tax dollars are being squandered to support the Park Commissioners' egos. The more this Park Board gets away with, the more arrogant and greedy they become! Will you be next?

Share your outrage!
